Preserving Our Legacy
A New Chapter
In 2008, MTE Communications embraced a bold vision for its future by becoming employee-owned. This transition wasn't driven by financial considerations, it was about preserving jobs and ensuring that the company would continue serving its communities with the same dedication that had defined it for decades. Lane Williams understood that employee ownership would help maintain local control and give team members a personal stake in the company's success.
Today, as employee-owners, we carry forward this legacy of innovation and community service. From our earliest days of stringing copper wire in Midvale to our current fiber optic networks, our mission remains unchanged: bringing life-altering telecommunications services to places it's never been before. We're proud that our employee-owners live in and understand the communities we serve, allowing us to make decisions that truly benefit our neighbors.
